About ACOSM

Since 1991, ACOSM has been a significant annual event for Project Managers, Software Measurement, Software Quality Assurance and Process Improvement practitioners.

The 2007 Australian Conference on Software Measurement is a two day event that is being jointly coordinated by the IT Metrics and Productivity Institute, and ASMA/SQA (NSW).

DAY ONE will be coordinated by the IT Metrics and Productivity Institute and will feature world class software experts presenting on current trends in software best practices.

DAY TWO will be coordinated by the Australian Software Metrics Association (ASMA/SQA (NSW)) and will follow a series of industry and government case studies from both Australia and New Zealand. These shared practical experiences will help attendees understand how organisational benefits can be delivered through the leveraging of software metrics and software best practices.  Participants also have the opportunity to take the IFPUG Function Point Certification test.
